Job Title: CT Technologist

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including basic and intermediate procedures.
  • Obtain medical history from patients and compare requisitions to physicians' orders to ensure exam accuracy.
  • Position patients and select proper scanning factors, adjusting factors as needed to attain high-quality images.
  • Administer contrast media under the direction of the Radiologist and assist in proper scanning techniques.
  • Post-process images as directed and accurately identify and label images with patient information.
  • Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulatory agencies and enter patient and study information into the radiology information system.
  • Identify equipment performance issues and perform quality assurance tests and calibration procedures.
Requirements:
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Computed Tomography (CT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 18 months.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
