Pharmacy Technician

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacists in the delivery of high-quality services.

• Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of accurate records.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software, to ensure accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions and other transactions.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as pharmacy operations, customer service, and technology.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental and store goals, including maintaining a clean and organized work environment and adhering to company policies and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, pharmacists, and other team members.
• Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
