Position Overview: A prominent healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Hospitalist physician to enhance their medical team.
Facility Details: This role is based in a flagship hospital, a 500+ bed level II Trauma center, known for its comprehensive care.
Work Schedule: The Hospitalist will operate on a 7 days on, 7 days off rotation, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.
Team Structure: The Hospitalist team consists of 9 Hospitalists, 1 Nocturnist, and 3 Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) working from 5 PM to 5 AM. The team collaborates to provide exceptional patient care.
ICU Coverage: The facility has an open ICU, with most procedures and codes managed by the Intensivist team, allowing the Hospitalists to focus on their primary responsibilities.
Teaching Opportunities: There is an option to engage in teaching Internal Medicine Residents, providing a chance to contribute to the education of future physicians.
Candidate Requirements: While Spanish speaking is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement for this position.
