About the Role
Carollo Engineers is a leading environmental engineering firm seeking a talented Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Denver. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting, innovative, and environmentally beneficial water and wastewater projects.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Devises new approaches to problems encountered.
- Report writing and preparation of plans, specifications, reports for water/wastewater treatment and pumping facilities, wastewater collection systems, water transmission/distribution projects, and water/wastewater master plans/studies.
- Coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work for a project of moderate scope or as part of a major project.
- Function as project manager on smaller projects.
- Supervises, coordinates, and reviews the work of a small staff of engineers and technicians.
- Estimates project resource needs, schedules, and assigns work to meet completion date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
- 6 to 12 years industry experience.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team.
- Deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Design and construction phase experience.
- Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD.
Compensation and Benefits
Carollo offers a competitive salary range of $94,000 to $120,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, comprehensive health insurance, pre-tax savings account options, and more.
