Local Contract Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Opportunity

PRN Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a local contract basis. This 13-week assignment offers a 36-hour workweek with 12-hour shifts, providing a great opportunity for professionals to gain experience and build their skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and maintain accurate records in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices.
- Active VA or Compact License in hand at submission.
- Current ACLS and NRP certifications.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery, with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
