Diesel Mechanic Team Lead Position

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Team Lead to join our maintenance team at US Foods, Inc.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of diesel road equipment while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace, and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance within company standards.
- Complete documentation of all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability.
- Handle road service calls; perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed.
- A minimum of three years of commercial diesel mechanic experience or two years of experience with TK or refrigeration certification.
- Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations pertaining to the shop and fleet.
- Excellent communication skills: able to communicate with coworkers and drivers with demonstrated teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.

Working Conditions:This is a full-time position requiring a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Ability to work overtime when needed is essential.
