Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Oversee the efficient management of patient flow, including triage, assessment, and preparation for examinations.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including test results and treatment plans.
- Administer medications as per physician directives.
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- A valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
- A Nursing Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
- Prior experience in an acute care environment is highly desirable.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and/or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications within six months of hire.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within six months of hire.
- Strong critical thinking skills and excellent communication abilities.
