As an Aircraft Structural Maintenance specialist, you will utilize various techniques, including installing replacement parts and fabricating components, to ensure the structural integrity of the aircraft and safeguard the lives of Airmen who operate them.

Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet specific age, citizenship, and educational requirements. You must be between 17 and 42 years old, a U.S. citizen, and obtain a qualifying ASVAB score. Additionally, applicants without a degree or alternate credential must achieve an AFQT test score of 65 or higher on the ASVAB.

*The ASVAB score requirements are: Mechanical (M) - 47

Qualifications
Knowledge of aircraft construction features, completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training, and being at least 17 years old but not yet 42 on the date of enlistment are essential qualifications for this position.

Key Responsibilities
This position requires strong mechanical skills, knowledge of aircraft structures, and adherence to safety standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the structural integrity of our aircraft, adhering to strict safety guidelines, and participating in regular training exercises to stay up-to-date on the latest aircraft maintenance techniques.
