We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in the delivery of care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians with various procedures performed in the Cath Lab, maintaining sterile technique and ensuring patient safety.
- Monitor vital signs, hemodynamic pressures, and cardiac rhythms, reporting any deviations from normal to the physician.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to professional staff, particularly when the patient is in pain or discomfort.
- Provide patient education pre and post procedure, ensuring patients understand their treatment and care plan.
- High school graduate or GED required.
- Radiology Technologist/Cardiovascular Technologist school graduate or equivalent required.
- BLS through American Heart Association required.
- ACLS through American Heart Association required.
