Cardiac MRI Technologist Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Cardiac MRI Technologist to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. As a key member of our healthcare team, you'll be responsible for performing MRI diagnostic imaging procedures, locating and recording internal elements of the body, and identifying anomalies indicative of disease or injury.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI diagnostic imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions according to department procedures and protocols.
  • Locate and record internal elements of the body, and identify any anomalies indicative of disease, injury, or other medically significant conditions.
  • Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts.
  • Monitor patients for potentially dangerous physical and emotional changes.
  • Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
  • Review tests with peers and physicians.
  • Inform physicians of preliminary findings as requested according to department procedures.
  • Distribute completed test results to physicians and service providers.
  • Prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
  • Maintain patient charts, enter diagnosis and billing codes, log data into patient information systems, and update file systems for tests performed.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
  • Recognize equipment malfunctions and readjust equipment or write referrals for repair.
  • Instruct patients in pretest preparation, answer questions, and explain procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years MRI clinical experience required.
  • Must have cardiac experience.
  • Siemens equipment experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal needed.
  • Ability to interact with client personnel and team members in an autonomous responsible, professional, and ethical manner.
  • Must be flexible, reliable, and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative.
