Job Summary

\

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Absolute Therapy LLC. As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with patients to assist them in exercising or practicing daily tasks, motivate and encourage them, and correct their posture or form as needed.

\

You will also be responsible for recording accurate patient records, setting up necessary equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

\

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to create a positive and nurturing environment, and have existing knowledge of physical therapy guidelines and recommendations.

\

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with exercises and daily functional tasks by correcting form, motivating, and ensuring safety.\
  • Evaluate and administer individualized treatment plans for each patient.\
  • Maintain accurate records for all patients, treatments, and progress.\
  • Mentor and encourage patients and families by providing positive support, encouragement, and advice.\
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe work environment.\
  • Create a positive and supportive atmosphere for patients and staff.\
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.\
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.\
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices.\
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.\
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.\
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills.\
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.\
  • Meet productivity and performance standards.\
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.\
  • Perform other duties as assigned.\

  • Current state licensure for physical therapist required.\
  • Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.\
  • CPR certification required.\
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.\
  • Reliability and punctuality essential.\
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.\
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.\

  • Skilled in using electronic medical records (EMRs) and software applications.\
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.\
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.\
  • Excellent customer service skills.\
  • Ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.\
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.\
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.\
  • Continuous improvement mindset.\
  • Professional certifications such as CCC-SLP or RRT.\
  • Prior experience working in a hospital or outpatient setting.\
  • State licensure for physical therapy.\
  • Continuing education credits for maintaining licensure.\
  • Familiarity with ICD-10 coding system.\
  • Knowledge of Medical Records Management systems.\
  • Basic life support certification.\
  • Driver's license with reliable vehicle for travel between offices.\
  • Associate's degree in a related field may be considered with relevant experience.\
  • Will consider candidates with non-traditional backgrounds and education.
