Hardware Test Engineer Job Description

At Axelon, we are seeking a skilled Hardware Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and executing hardware board-level testing, working closely with the Hardware engineering team to ensure product development meets design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hardware integration testing to ensure seamless integration of components
  • Conduct hardware software testing to identify and resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for hardware designs and test results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive internal processes and meet design specifications
  • Utilize technical expertise to facilitate communication between engineering groups and non-technical team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive electronics hardware design
  • Strong understanding of electrical signal characterization and experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other validation test equipment
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
