Material Handler

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Reading Truck. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product for final distribution.

• Contribute to the efficient operation of stock and/or materials storage area
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording locations of inventory, and reporting shortages
• Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders (kitting)
• Load and pack units for shipping
• Document materials and records units delivered
• Operate fork trucks, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other machinery to move items
• Drive and stage trucks, bumpers, or other accessories

• Prior manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of pallet jacks, forklifts, and dollies required
