We are seeking a Facilities Technician I for both 1st and 2nd shifts, responsible for delivering mechanical, electrical, and technical assistance across various departments while gaining experience in performing routine maintenance and repairs on production floor machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and effective facilities support in areas such as routine maintenance, carpentry, light electrical work, painting, plumbing, and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist in identifying and rectifying potential safety risks.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on facilities equipment.
- Utilize standard hand tools and power tools, including drill motors and skill saws, safely.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in predictive and preventive maintenance practices.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Certification to operate a forklift.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher from a vocational institution or college focusing on Mechanical and/or Electrical disciplines.
- 2–5 years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Electrical fields.
- Familiarity with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in line with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and safety regulations.
- Experience in Project Management.
- Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
