Mechanical Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Superintendent to lead our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of large commercial and industrial mechanical projects.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of employees and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Work closely with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and compliance with safety procedures.
• Develop and implement effective safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with project managers and general superintendents to plan and develop construction techniques and methods.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports and schedules.
• Identify and report any extra work requested by the owner or occasioned by job conditions, which is beyond the original estimate or scope of work.
• Verify the layout of accurate lines and grades for all work performed by Stellar employees and subcontractors.
• Conduct day-to-day quality control of both company-performed work and subcontractors' work.
• Foster good local relations with the community and build a strong working relationship with owner representatives and local plant personnel.

• 10+ years of mechanical experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Superintendent.
• Experience in food processing facilities.
• Driving license required.
• Ability to manage larger scale commercial and industrial projects.
• Ability to track and schedule projects, material ordering, and manpower forecasting.
• Ability to manage and schedule subcontractors.
• Thorough knowledge of other major trade's blueprints.
• Ability to supervise multiple crews at once.
