Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Lead Technician to join our team at Firestone Complete Auto Care. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, while also mentoring and leading our technicians to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, and air conditioning and computer systems.
  • Provide clear and concise explanations of technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
  • Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive company vehicles.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a vocational-technical school program, or demonstrated skills via third-party certificates/assessments.
  • A.S.E. certification in at least 5 areas is required.
  • Maintain Federal, State, and Local certifications/licenses where applicable.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
  • Strong reading, writing, and math skills.
