Key Details:
- Location: Remote
- Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
- Work Hours: Full-Time
- Compensation: $40-$50 per hour
- Caseload: K-12 students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Manage caseloads while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance students' communication skills within the classroom environment.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree: Required in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure: Current state SLP license (CCCs).
- Experience: At least 2 years working with students with communication disorders in educational settings.
- Virtual Therapy Experience: Prior experience in providing teletherapy services is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Technical Requirements: Reliable computer and high-speed internet connection (no Chromebooks/tablets).
