About the Role

VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation seek an Application Engineer to join their team based in Odessa, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team as a technical resource, designing control panels and building BOM's.
  • Develop applications and improve existing software to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of products sold and supported.
  • Provide technical findings and share knowledge with sales and operations teams.
  • Work with sales and operations teams to grow sales as a consultative resource.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of O&G experience in measurement, automation, and/or electrical fields.
  • Knowledge of Schneider Electric, Emerson/ROC, ABB Totalflow, and Allen Bradley products.
  • Flow meter and general instrumentation experience required.
  • Knowledge of reading electrical and structural P&ID's required.
  • Degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering/Maintenance or equivalent experience preferred.

Travel: Overnight travel less than 25% of the time.
