Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at ReqOverflow. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of complex imaging and non-imaging tests on patients of all ages, from neonatal to geriatric.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform dose calculation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring accurate and safe delivery to patients.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including scintillation cameras, PET CT, gamma counters, and computers, to acquire and process planar, 2-dimensional, or 3-dimensional data.
  • Establish correct patient identification, order verification, and relevant diagnosis prior to performing imaging procedures.
  • Monitor personnel, work areas, and patient rooms for radiation levels, ensuring compliance with established limits.
  • Perform minor routine maintenance on equipment and report problems to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology training program.
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).
Work Environment

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and hand washing. Occasional sitting, bending, squatting, crouching, kneeling, pulling, pushing, stretching, reaching, climbing, twisting, lifting, carrying, holding, and repetitive arm, hand, and finger movements are also required.
