Radiation Therapist

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Utica, NY. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

• Administer radiation treatments to patients with cancer, ensuring accurate dosages and precise delivery.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report any adverse reactions or concerns.
• Operate and maintain radiation equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting understanding and adherence to treatment plans.

• One to three years of experience as a Radiation Therapist, preferably in a radiation oncology setting.
• Current licensure and certification in radiation therapy, as required by the state and employer.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
