Key Responsibilities

Role Summary

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapist will be responsible for assessing and treating patients. This includes conducting evaluations, formulating and executing effective treatment plans, providing therapeutic services, and planning for patient discharge.

Qualifications

Education and Licensure Requirements:


• A degree in physical therapy (BS/MS/DPT) is required.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapy License from the Kentucky State Board is mandatory.

Certifications:


• CPR and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.

Experience Requirements:


• Prior experience in physical therapy is preferred for outpatient roles.
• Acute care experience is essential for inpatient positions.
