Position Summary:
Our objective is to empower each athlete to reach their personal goals through our advanced expertise in sports medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Enhance access to care for a diverse patient population, prioritizing active females.
2. Support HSS in its commitment to community benefits and improved access to care through outreach and program development.
3. Contribute to female-specific patient-oriented outcomes through collaborative research initiatives.
4. Develop best practice models and clinical pathways.
5. Assist in the formulation of program procedures and protocols.
6. Collaborate on clinical and research efforts with providers and programs both within and outside the organization.
7. Support clinical expansion and excellence at regional sites.
8. Initiate topic-specific virtual centers (e.g., Athlete Triad, Peripartum/Pregnancy).
9. Enhance and expand mentoring and medical education opportunities beyond traditional internships (e.g., traveling fellows, rotations for medical students/residents).
10. Cultivate meaningful relationships with referring providers and programs (schools, physical therapy, primary care, specialty providers, sports programs).
11. Maintain a comprehensive referral network database.
12. Contribute to the Sports Medicine Institute's social media presence through content creation and oversight.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Licensed by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (A.T., C).
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine or a related field.
- CPR and ACLS certified.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
