About the Opportunity

Fortune School of Education is seeking a skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in evaluating, planning, and administering comprehensive speech therapy modalities to patients with speech, voice, language, cognitive-communicative, and oral-pharyngeal swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Develop and implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
  • Work with individuals who want to improve their communication skills, such as accent modification or other forms of communication enhancement.
  • Assess and treat individuals with speech and language disorders, including cognitive-communication disorders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an education environment, preferably in speech-language pathology.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and databases and do word processing.
Working Conditions

The Speech and Language Pathologist will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, staff, and families. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Fortune School of Education is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. We offer a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $116,000 per year, depending on experience.
