Window Treatment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Window Treatment Specialist to join our team at Mermet. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and performing general upkeep of textile rapier looms.

This is an hourly position that requires strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Maintain, clean, and perform general upkeep of textile rapier looms
• Change warps, tie on new warps, and start up new warp
• Clean reed and harness, clamp pattern and roll up, cut waste off beam, take it out, and weigh waste
• Clean loom thoroughly, put new warp in loom, load warp, and check lease for double and ends out of lease, top and bottom
• Oil both top and bottom load, tie warps, unload and pull over, store lease rods and clamps in wall racks in proper place, blow off tie machine at end of shift

• GED or High School Diploma
• Willingness to get a company-issued Forklift license
• Strong record of attendance
• Ability to adhere to safety measures
