Job Summary:

Tradesmen International, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting production operations, analyzing and troubleshooting equipment, and performing maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Production Operations: Assist in the maintenance and repair of production equipment, including conveyors, machine automation, robots, CNC lathes, and forge presses.
  • Analyze and Troubleshoot Equipment: Use your technical skills to identify and resolve issues with plant equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, to ensure smooth operation.
  • Other Tasks: Assist with other tasks as assigned by management, including project work and special initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Ability to work from drawings, understand blueprints and schematics, and use test equipment such as multi-meters, meggers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Robotics Experience: Familiarity with Fsanuc or Nachi robots for recovery, point adjustment, and program change.
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic Knowledge: Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and equipment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
