The Retail Pharmacy Expert at Walgreens plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting health awareness within local communities. This dynamic pharmacist will work closely with patients to offer personalized medication advice, conduct immunizations, and provide clinical services such as disease state management. Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, interactions, and contraindications">
  • Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently">
  • Participate in community outreach activities to promote pharmacy services and enhance growth opportunities">
  • Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy software and technology systems">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution">
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district">
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws">
  • Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire">
  • At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting (preferred)">

Estimated Salary Range: $52.00 per hour - $80.00 per hour
