LPN-LTC Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with the Registered Nurse and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities on a per-shift basis, ensuring the smooth operation of the unit and providing guidance to colleagues as needed.
  • Utilize basic physical assessment skills and a general understanding of nursing principles to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a diploma or Associate's degree.
  • Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Maryland.
  • AHA BLS CPR certification.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using specialized equipment, including IV pumps and EKG machines.
