Clinical Recovery Specialist

The Clinical PACU Part-Time nurse will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing recovery from surgery. This role requires strong critical thinking and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Responsibilities
* Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including their values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific needs
* Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family, or caregiver
* Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care
* Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care
Work Environment
This role will be based in the Parkview Tower at Barnes - Main Campus, with the opportunity to rotate through various shifts, including nights. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively as part of a team.
