EMT Coordinator

We are seeking an EMT Coordinator to join our team at Medical City Plano. As an EMT Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing all transfer center functions, including centralized patient placement, in a timely and customer-centered professional manner.

• Coordinate the transfer of patients and discharges from HCA facilities.
• Follow specific protocols, policies, and procedures to safely place patients at facilities.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure appropriate patient admission.
• Establish and maintain a high degree of awareness and knowledge of hospitals' medical staff, services, and special programs.
• Exhibit exceptional customer relationship behaviors, including telephone and personal contact with all customer groups.

• Minimum 2 years of clinical or hospital experience required.
• EMT Basic Certificate required.
• Call Center/Transfer Center experience preferred.
