Job Title: Trackhoe/Skid Loader Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trackhoe/Skid Loader Operator to join our team at The H&K Group. As a key member of our Structures Division, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our heavy equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain trackhoes and skid loaders to perform various tasks, including crushing site material and transporting equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Identify site needs and develop plans to complete jobs efficiently, utilizing various equipment and resources.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Clean, pack up, and transport equipment as needed.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience operating trackhoes and skid loaders, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Experience with equipment maintenance and repair, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and management.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to motivate and direct others.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Safety-focused, with a strong commitment to adhering to OSHA, MSHA, and H&K Safety policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong focus on technical skills and knowledge.
  • Experience with loader operations and Q329 Caterpillar trackhoe and LT105 portable crusher.
  • OSHA, MSHA, or other safety certifications, with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
