About the Role:
Laboratory assistants are essential members of our healthcare team, working behind the scenes to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. In this critical role, you will work closely with licensed personnel to perform routine automated testing, review quality control, and maintain laboratory instruments. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine automated testing in various areas of the clinical laboratory, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to review quality control and implement process improvements, driving operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Provide administrative support, including patient registration, data entry, and use of the laboratory computer system, enhancing workflow efficiency.
• Verify patient eligibility, benefits, and billing requirements, guaranteeing compliance with regulatory standards.

What We're Looking For:
• 6 months of experience as a laboratory assistant or phlebotomy technician, with a solid understanding of laboratory procedures and principles.
• Current California Phlebotomy certification (CT PHLEBOT), reflecting expertise in blood collection and venipuncture techniques.
• Medical Laboratory Technician certification may be accepted in lieu of AHA CPR certification, highlighting a strong foundation in laboratory science.

Compensation Package:
We offer a generous compensation package, including a salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience. This comprehensive package reflects our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in the industry.
