Job Overview

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Dekalb, IL. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for running material through machining operations to produce a variety of completed parts according to order specifications.

This is a long-term opportunity with career growth and advancement within as little as 3 months. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain machines
  • Machine parts to specifications
  • Locate and identify proper material, stage material and tooling for jobs
  • Keep adequate tooling inventory, inspect parts
  • Assist with sorting and packaging parts
  • General housekeeping and other machine shop duties defined by supervisor

Requirements:

  • 3+ Years Machine Operating/CNC Experience
  • 3+ Years Production
  • Mechanical/Automotive Knowledge
  • Requires Lifting 50+ Pounds Occasionally

Work Environment:

  • Metals/Manufacturing Environment
  • PPE Required
  • Non-Temp Controlled
