Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at ORA Orthopedics. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality x-ray images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for x-ray exams
  • Perform x-ray exams while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Ensure equipment is in working order and report any malfunctions to the Radiology Supervisor
  • Inspect exam rooms for cleanliness and maintain adequate supplies
  • Utilize radiation protection equipment and techniques to minimize exposure
  • Assist with Arthrogram and injection processes, and work with the MRI department to prepare sterile injections
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) certification required
  • License in IA & IL required
  • One year of x-ray experience required
  • Flexibility to work some evenings and Saturdays
  • Ability to commute reliably to all ORA locations as needed
