Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care in post-acute facilities, such as SNFs and ALFs
  • Administer individualized treatments and medications to residents
  • Develop care plans in conjunction with residents and medical teams
  • Set up medical equipment and monitor its use
  • Go over care options with residents and family members
  • Meet and consult with physicians and other healthcare staff as needed
  • Draw blood, urine, and other fluid samples for lab work
  • Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and medical condition histories
  • Train nursing staff and supervise them
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current Massachusetts state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Completion of an approved nursing program
  • At least 4 months' experience in post-acute care or in-patient hospital settings
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
