Family Physician, MD or DO (Inpatient/Residential)

**Position Overview**

The Lead Physician will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary treatment team, providing medical assessment and treatment for eating disorder patients at our residential centers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide direct medical services through comprehensive evaluations, accurate diagnoses, and tailored treatment plans, including necessary examinations, workups, medication prescriptions, and other appropriate interventions.
  • Evaluate medical complications associated with eating disorders, as well as co-occurring conditions, for patients across various levels of care within the facility.
  • Communicate with each patient's ambulatory providers and families as needed, ensuring continuity of care.

**Qualifications**

  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Family Practice and two or more years of previous independent practice, with an emphasis in family medicine, complex medical conditions, psychiatric or eating disorder treatment settings.
  • Must be currently licensed as an MD or DO in the state of employment (GA). Must be BC/BE in Family Medicine and possess a current unrestricted DEA license.
