Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$115,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Responsibilities

As a Medical Care Professional, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating unit staffing and providing leadership while ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in assigned areas.
  • Assigning, directing, educating, and monitoring nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of patient care and identifying any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
  • Responding to complaints about patient care and managing them through established channels.
  • Providing input for hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff.

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

  • A valid Registered Nurse license from the Florida Board of Nursing.
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
  • At least 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience as a Registered Nurse.
