At JobRialto, we are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
The estimated salary for this position is $42,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
Job Description:We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who can assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Deliver excellent patient care, addressing their needs and preferences with empathy and respect.
- Support Daily Activities: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record vital signs as required by nursing staff.
- Repositioning: Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores and promote comfort.
- Dietary Management: Ensure patients receive the appropriate diet by reviewing dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Communication: Obtain and relay information about patient conditions and treatment plans from physicians and caregivers.
- Intake and Output Monitoring: Record food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output, reporting changes to medical or nursing staff.
- Medication Reminders: Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements as prescribed.
- Observation and Reporting: Monitor patient behavior, noting complaints or physical symptoms, and communicate findings to nursing staff.
- Training and Compliance: Stay current with CNA training, facility policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and quality care.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, interacting effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate Care: Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills and attention to detail for accurate reporting and monitoring of patient conditions.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.
