About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team at BSA Hospital. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a critical role in providing technical and supportive care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to patients during hemodialysis treatment, ensuring procedures are performed safely and effectively.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and provide emotional support during treatment.
  • Set up and prime dialysis machines according to established protocols before each treatment session.
  • Evaluate vascular access pretreatment and perform vascular access cannulation.
  • Administer medications as directed by physicians under the supervision of registered nurses.
  • Perform routine maintenance of dialysis machines and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
  • Record accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, treatment parameters, and any interventions performed during dialysis sessions.
Requirements
  • High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.
  • At least one year of experience in a dialysis setting.
  • Certification as a Dialysis Technician- CHT- Certified Hemodialysis Technician.
  • Must have BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of a dialysis technician training program.
