As a Desktop Solutions Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of robust solutions for endpoint hardware and software standards. You'll mentor junior engineers and lead technical aspects of strategic activities. Accountable for endpoint management, software deployment, patching, and tool lifecycle.
You will identify and implement innovative approaches to administrative tasks, focusing on automation, compliance, and security. Ensure methodologies for operating system deployment platforms are configured and maintained. Plan upgrades, changes, or implementations of endpoint administration systems, following established change control processes.
A deep understanding of enterprise technologies like security, networking, and infrastructure is required. Resolve interoperability problems on a large scale. Lead high-level technical projects and participate in Enterprise projects supporting cross-functional initiatives.
Recommend complex systems to management based on current and future performance assessments. Document requirements for acceptance and formal approval of builds through engineering and security activities. Create System Design Documents as needed. Work closely with management to identify, evaluate, and recommend new products, technologies, roadmaps, and strategies.
This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 8+ years of IT experience in providing software and hardware break/fix support. Experience working with wireless networks, local area networks, SQL, scripting, and network troubleshooting skills is necessary.
A deep knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager is required. Working knowledge of Jamf, PrinterLogic, and other enterprise-level systems management tools is necessary. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and end-user platform systems in an enterprise environment is required. Existing knowledge of Intune, co-management, and Autopilot is essential. An enterprise-level understanding of how different systems and services integrate and affect the IT environment is necessary.
