About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Machine Technician to repair and maintain various machines and equipment in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance, with a strong background in electrical and automation systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with machines and equipment, using problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
• Repair and replace parts as needed, using mechanical and electrical skills.
• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action to prevent accidents.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production schedules are met and that quality standards are maintained.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in machine repair and maintenance, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; journeyman status preferred.
• 7-10 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance, with a strong background in electrical and automation systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMI systems, process controls, camera inspection systems, robotic controls, and other related technologies.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics, and to use computer systems and CMMS software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
