Endocrinologist - New Brunswick, NJ

We are seeking a highly skilled Endocrinologist to join our team at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. As a member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases related to the endocrine system.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Care:
- Diagnose and treat disorders of the endocrine system, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, and reproductive issues.
- Conduct thorough examinations, including reviewing patient history, physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests such as blood tests, imaging, and biopsies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications, recommending lifestyle changes, and discussing surgical options when necessary.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments based on response and health changes.
- Educate patients on managing chronic endocrine conditions, such as diabetes or thyroid disease, and provide guidance on hormone therapy.
- Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency program in internal medicine.
- Completion of a fellowship in endocrinology.
- Board certification or eligibility in endocrinology.
