We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital - Corewell Health Grand Rapids. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality pharmacy services, including preparing medications, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
- Work closely with licensed pharmacists to ensure compliance with established policies and guidelines.
- Assist with billing and crediting patient medications, and maintain accurate records of controlled substances.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of medication administration, including narcotics sign-out records.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred, unless required by the State.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and ability to read and update patient charts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
