As the Clinical Manager, you will oversee the clinical operations of the Wound and Hyperbaric Institute. Your responsibilities will include managing clinical operations, staffing, training, and serving as a liaison with physicians and hospital departments, reporting directly to the Clinic Director and designated hospital leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under the guidance of the Institute Director, supervise, manage, train, and support clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Direct and assess nursing care provided to patients within the Wound Healing Institute.
- Collaborate with the Safety Director to ensure patient needs are met during hyperbaric oxygen treatments.
- Develop and implement educational programs for physicians and staff regarding wound management.
- Provide the Institute Director with necessary operational reports.
- Contribute to the evaluation process and assist the Institute Director in maintaining employee records.
- Manage patient flow and ensure timely coordination with ancillary departments.
- Evaluate patients' conditions and nursing requirements; establish goals and appropriate actions to achieve those goals.
- Perform case management duties.
- Ensure accurate documentation of care in the electronic medical record.
- Guide and develop staff skills.
- Possess knowledge of advanced modalities utilized in wound care.
- Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Exhibit strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Adapt to fluctuating patient flow schedules, effectively communicate with physicians, and function efficiently in an outpatient setting.
- Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Extensive experience in nursing leadership, managing nursing staff, and working in an outpatient wound care environment utilizing advanced modalities.
- State-issued Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification.
- Procedure-oriented.
- Provides patient care in a safe, appropriate, and timely manner.
- Conducts initial assessments for all new patients.
- Ensures efficient and timely case management.
- Maintains current licensures and certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead nursing staff effectively.
