Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shear Operator to join our team at Arizon Companies. As a Shear Operator, you will be responsible for safely setting up and operating a Shear, reading and interpreting blueprints, and ensuring the proper use of PPE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a Shear and ensure a safe working environment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and routers to complete tasks accurately
  • Measure and verify dimensions using a tape measure and calculate decimals and fractions figures
  • Stack completed parts properly on blocks or pallets and load and unload raw material via Crane or Forklift
  • Work as a team member and maintain a proactive, positive attitude
  • Ensure good attendance and maintain organizational skills
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Work in a warehouse environment with varying weather conditions and temperatures
  • Physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate well
  • Prior factory experience in operating a Shear is a plus
