Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Tailored Brands Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of merchandise to our store locations.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely deliveries to our store network
  • Unload, process, and reload merchandise and freight
  • Drive commercial motor vehicles on designated routes and deliver merchandise to stores
  • Pack and ship merchandise as required
  • Control merchandise and equipment
Operational Duties
  • Scan drivers' logs and tuxedo manifests into and out of the HUB
  • Assist in the reconciliation of data entry errors, transfer discrepancies, and pending transfers
  • Ensure security of all HUB equipment and tools
Safety
  • Perform driving functions within the parameters set forth by the Transportation Safety Department
  • Ensure that work areas are clean
  • Report all injuries to up-line management on a timely basis
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have minimum 2 years driving work-related experience (job training will be provided)
  • Valid driver's license (Class C Non CDL)
  • Able to pass a Company Road test
  • Currently hold or able to pass a DOT physical, including drug screen
  • Good driving record: No more than 2 moving violations in past 24 months or 3 moving violations in past 36 months
  • No DUI's, DWI, or license suspension in last 10 years
  • No more than 1 preventable (DOT recordable) accident in past 12 months
Physical Requirements
  • Able to sit and remain alert while driving for a period of at least 10 hours
  • Drive 26 ft. automatic transmission box trucks with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVW
  • Squat or crouch to handle or position freight
  • Enter and exit vehicle cab minimum of 8-10 times per day
  • Push and/or pull 500 or more pounds on a dolly cart or manual pallet jack
  • Push, pull, and lift 50 pounds without the aid of mechanical equipment at a minimal distance of 12 feet
