The American Freight Furniture Sales Associate is a key member of our sales team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our company, providing proactive consultative sales assistance and support to customers, achieving department standards and goals, and maintaining a clean, in-stock, orderly, and well-merchandised sales floor.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions using approved selling practices and guidelines

• Meet or exceed associate performance standards consistently

• Understand website navigation and leverage technology to facilitate the customer experience and provide customer solutions when products are not available in-store

• Maintain current knowledge of merchandise lines, product features, benefits, and availability, as well as delivery, installation, and/or service options to respond to customer needs

• Process customer transactions in the Point of Sale system, including sales, returns, and exchanges in accordance with authorized procedures

• Complete required training in the expected timeframe and participate in ongoing learning opportunities

• Partner with other selling and sales support associates and cashiers to provide superior customer service, including locating merchandise, assisting customers, and answering phones and ringing the register

• Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements**

• Day, evening, and weekend availability for Full-Time roles

• Flexible scheduling for Part-Time openings
