Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Proficiency:

  • Expertise in electrical and mechanical testing methodologies for gas distribution systems.
  • Experience with both automated testing equipment and manual testing processes.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards governing gas distribution systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in hardware and software components effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify defect root causes and implement corrective measures.
  • Gather and analyze testing data to pinpoint trends and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Software & Tools:

  • Proficient in testing software and data analysis applications.
  • Familiarity with CAD software for design specification reviews is a plus.

Attention to Detail:

  • Demonstrated precision and accuracy in testing and documentation processes.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles; Six Sigma Greenbelt certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Knowledge of electronic Work Instruction software is advantageous.
  • Proficient in ERP System Software.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience leading small teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working independently or collaboratively.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications or training in testing and quality assurance are beneficial.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting, especially with gas distribution systems, is preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years in high-technology manufacturing, ideally in semiconductor capital equipment or a related field.
  • Familiarity with quick-turn, engineer-to-order environments.
