As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining medical imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting with diagnostic imaging procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including echocardiography machines
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Assist with diagnostic imaging procedures, including echocardiograms and other cardiovascular tests
  • Monitor and maintain patient records, including medical histories and test results
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Current certification in echocardiography or related field
  • 1+ year of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist or related role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
