Job Summary:
This entry-level role involves working in a large warehouse setting, focusing on the precise assembly of kitted products. Attention to detail and efficiency are crucial in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, weigh, align, fold, bag, label, pack, stock, and organize materials.
- Report any discrepancies in orders to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor.
- Meet established production deadlines.
- Maintain warehouse equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Collaborate with supervisors to achieve performance standards.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Complete all assembly steps, including weighing, stuffing, and plunging.
- Prepare items for outbound shipments and assemble kits, including bagging and tagging.
- Sort incoming shipments and utilize scales to meet specific weight requirements.
- Label bags and package products as needed.
- Follow directions and work effectively within a team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently.
- Good number recognition skills.
- Basic English reading and writing abilities.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Must be able to obtain necessary security clearances.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to multi-task effectively.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands:
The physical requirements of this position include standing, walking, and using hands to handle materials. Employees must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly.
Work Environment:
