Job Overview:

The ABC and LOL Child Care Center and Preschool seeks an exceptional Lead Preschool Educator to join our team. This dynamic role offers a comprehensive year-round curriculum to children ages 3 through 5 years old, collaborating with local school districts.


Estimated Salary:$62,500 - $72,500 per year

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Implement educational curriculum through developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards, promoting social, cognitive, and emotional growth in children.
  • Team Leadership: Lead by example, encouraging teacher success and modeling coaching techniques, while maintaining open communication with staff members.
  • Activity Planning: Plan age-appropriate activities that foster socialization, creativity, and skill-building among preschoolers.
  • Parent Communication: Establish strong relationships with parents through regular updates, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences, ensuring seamless collaboration between home and school.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to center policies and state regulations, upholding the highest standards of quality care and education.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional child care experience, with a proven track record of successful program implementation.
  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency.
  • Collaboration: High energy and ability to work effectively with others (staff, children, and parents), promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Child Development Understanding: A deep understanding of child development principles, informing teaching practices and supporting the unique needs of each child.
  • Certifications: Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification, ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment.

Education:
  • Degree Requirements: Associate's Degree in early childhood education or a related field of study, with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE, providing a solid foundation for instructional excellence.
